    Photosynthesis occurs in the chloroplast.
    Cellular respiration is made up of three parts: Glycolysis, the Krebs cycle (citric acid cycle), and the Electron transport chain. Glycolysis takes place in the cytoplasm of a cell, whereas the Krebs cycle & Electron transport chain occur in mitochondria.

    Reactants of photosynthesis are carbon dioxide and water.
    Reactants of cellular respiration are oxygen and glucose.

    Reactants are the raw materials - what they start with.

    Photosynthesis starts with carbon dioxide and water.
    Respiration starts with glucose and oxygen.

    Photosynthesis happens in the chloroplasts.
    Respiration happens in the mitochondria.
