How can I send a text message to cingular celular phone via internet if possible? I am right now in Japan an my cingular phone does not work here. And how, if possible can I retrieve my massages from my cel phone?

    If you are talking about retrieving text messages from your phone I doubt it if you can do that, if somebody send you a text I do not think you are going to be able to recover them. And if you are talking about retrieving your voice messages, you have to call your own number from japan, and then retrieve them like that. Sorry if I couldn’t be a better help. Have you tried to call cingular? if you haven’t, good luck because I’m pretty sure they are going to transfer you from one person to the other to answer your question.

    Always check with the carrier,in your cae cingular,go yo me what they said if you can.Good luck.

    I think I figuered ur problem out . if you register for message center you can:

    Track the delivery status of messages sent.

    Receive replies to your messages sent via the Message Center.

    also from the FAQ
    How can I send a message from Cingular.com?
    Select Send a Text Message in the upper right corner of Cingular.com or go directly to CingularME.com. From there, you can send a text message to any Cingular subscriber, provided they have a text-capable phone.
